Don's Woodworking Pages

This is by far one of my favorite hobbies.  Getting out into the shop and working with my hands to build something is very enjoyable and highly rewarding.  My interest in woodworking began back in high school (several years ago!!!) when I took some shop classes.  But growing up in a house that was over 100 years old and under constant renovation sure had a lot to do with it too.  My dad is very handy though really never engaged in "woodworking."  I learned a lot from him that I still use today.  It wasn't until I got married and realized that woodworking was not only an enjoyable hobby, but an easy way for us to get what we wanted in furniture and at a much better price.  Most of the projects I have worked on since 1992 (when I really started "woodworking) have been in the realm of home improvement or repair type projects.  I have built some furniture and display shelves, but nearly not as much as I would like.  I think I've actually completed more shop projects than I have home projects.  There are a lot still on my to-do list and hopefully when things with my job slow down a little and I have more free time, I'll be able to get to them.

Select from the menu above additional pages which cover my projects (both current and from the past), as well as the various shop
projects that I'm working on or have completed.

Below are the current major shop tools that I have.
Eventually I'll add pages to show photos of  my workshop, more tools, and tool reviews.
